TERMS AND CONDITIONS – WHITEWORTH MACHINERY LTD

WHAT IS TO BE PROVIDED BY WHITEWORTH MACHINERY LTD TO YOU (THE CUSTOMER)
You have agreed to purchase the goods. The customer acknowledges that the machinery is used/pre-owned and is sold – as seen – unless otherwise stated in writing on the face of the invoice.
As part of our standard machine preparation, WHITEWORTH MACHINERY LTD will ensure all guards are in place. However, once the equipment is delivered to the customer, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the machine meets all Health and Safety requirements i.e. Risk shall pass to the customer on collection or delivery of the goods

NO CREDIT TERMS ARE GIVEN
On receipt of your invoice we require cleared payment in full prior to arranging any collection or delivery of a machine. Should payment not be received within 28 days the machine maybe re-advertised for sale.
Should specific upgrades or repairs be agreed prior to collection or payment, we may request a deposit, normally of 20% prior to commencing this specifically requested work. We will carry out this work as quickly and efficiently as possible but please be patient in busy times. Once all preparation work has been completed we will notify you and will require the remaining balance be paid. On receipt you may collect the goods or if agreed we will arrange transport.

RETENTION OF TITLE
All goods remain the property of WHITEWORTH MACHINERY LTD until paid for in full.

CURRENCY
All payments to be made in pounds sterling only. Our preferred method of payment is bank transfer. The customer shall be responsible for any bank charges levied in respect of online payments. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure you have verified our bank details BEFORE payment. We recommend the customer contacts us by telephone on +44 (0) 7983 621816 to verify our bank account details and the customer should send a small test payment in the first instance before the full transfer of funds.
If payment is to be made by Cheque, all cheques must be made payable to WHITEWORTH MACHINERY LTD

COMPLAINTS
Any complaint must be made in writing (to e-mail: nigel@whiteworthmachinery.com) within 28 days of taking delivery of the machine. We will endeavour to resolve any issues as fairly as possible and expect reasonableness from the customer in return.
